About Cody and Tara

Cody and Tara McCarthy, Co-Owners of House Addicts, epitomizes integrity, energy, fun, and hard work in every sense of the word. Cody was born in Seattle, WA but moved to Colorado at a young age, so he considers himself a native. Cody is also well known as being the ‘life of the party’ by friends and colleagues alike. Cody always brings a fun and lighthearted energy to the team. With over 10 years real estate experience, Cody has worked with a multitude of Buyers, Sellers, and Investors. A wide variety of experience allows Cody to be a ‘go to’ source for all his clients. In 2010, Cody and his Wife Tara relocated to Scottsdale, and made a leap into the world of ‘Fix & Flipping’. Tara & Cody worked directly with a California based hedge fund and managed over $16,000,000 of investment income, successfully renovating and reselling over 315 homes. Yearning for their home town, Cody & Tara moved back to Colorado in 2013 and began rebuilding their business. Often times buying or selling a home can be stressful and unnerving, but Cody has an incredible knack of ‘calming the storm’ and making all of his clients at ease. In addition to selling real estate, Cody has an undying passion for his “2nd family,” the Denver Broncos. There’s not a piece of NFL trivia Cody doesn’t know, and he has a bit of a sixth sense for predicting the next batch of talented NFL stars. Truth be told, if Cody wasn’t in real estate he’d probably be scouting for an NFL team somewhere. Cody & Tara, who co-own House Addicts, are beating the odds by successfully working AND living together, without pulling each other’s hair out! When he’s not working (or watching the Broncos), Cody is spending his time with his 2 boys, Quinton (age 16) and Caden (age 10.)
